I obtained a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Binghamton University - State University of New York (SUNY), supervised by Dr. Yu Chen. I received a M.S. in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics (NUAA) in 2010 and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NJUST) in 2007. Prior to joining Binghamton University, I have been worked in Siemens on software development and system integration from 2010 to 2016.

Research Interests:

  • Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology, Internet-of-Things (IoT), Machine Learning, Cloud/Fog/Edge Computing Paradigm.
  • Scalablility and Interoperability of the Decentralized Security Network Intrastructure.
  • Intelligence, Assurance and Resilience of Next-G Network (NGN).

Jan 8, 2024 Our research was funded ($6K) by ICC Rapid Seeding Awards (Spring24) from MTU about designing intelligent and resillent computing and networking infrastructures for nextG Internet of vehicles networks (PI: Ronghua Xu).
Oct 13, 2023 I gave a talk at EAI SmartSP 23, Chicago, Title: A Hierarchical Microchain Network Architecture for Next Generation Smart Vehicular Network.
Apr 14, 2023 I will be joining the Department of Applied Computing at the Michigan Technological University as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Fall 2023.
Jan 10, 2023 Our paper titled SAUSA: Securing Access, Usage, and Storage of 3D Point Cloud Data by a Blockchain-Based Authentication Network has been accepted at the MDPI/Future Internet and selected as a title story on the front page of /Future Internet.
Jan 6, 2023 Congratulation! I have been received Graduate Student Excellence Award in Research which acknowledges distinguished work in Ph.D research.
Jun 30, 2022 Our paper titled Fairledger: A Fair Proof-Of-Sequential-Work Based Lightweight Distributed Ledger for IoT Networks has been accepted at the First International Symposium on Recent Advances of Blockchain Evolution: Architecture, Intelligence, Incentive, and Applications (BlockchainEvo 2022).
May 29, 2022 Our paper titled μDFL: A Secure Microchained Decentralized Federated Learning Fabric atop IoT Networks has been accepted at the IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management.
Apr 25, 2022 Our paper titled A Secure Dynamic Edge Resource Federation Architecture for Cross-Domain IoT Systems has been accepted into a workshop program (The 4th International Workshop on Smart City Communication and Networking) at the ICCCN 2022.
