I am looking for self-motivated Ph.D. students to join my research group (supported as RA/TA). If you are interested, shoot my email (ronghuax AT mtu DOT edu) with your research plan, CV, and any other relevant materials that you believe would support your application (transcripts, TOEFL and GRE scores, etc.).

About me:

I joined the Department of Applied Computing at Michigan Technological University in 2023. [Curriculum Vitae]

I obtained a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Binghamton University - State University of New York (SUNY), supervised by Dr. Yu Chen. I received a M.S. in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics (NUAA) in 2010 and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NJUST) in 2007. Prior to joining Binghamton University, I have been worked in Siemens on software development and system integration from 2010 to 2016.

Research Interests:

  • Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology, Internet-of-Things (IoT), Machine Learning, Cloud/Fog/Edge Computing Paradigm.
  • Scalablility and Interoperability of the Decentralized Security Network Intrastructure.
  • Intelligence, Assurance and Resilience of Next-G Network (NGN).
